Just about where ever you go in the world today you can find someone who speaks English, in fact English is the official language for over 50 countries across the globe. So if you speak English and are traveling on vacation or business there is a good chance you will be able to navigate the area with little difficulty.

Let’s look an example of how English is used in India. According the India Constitution, “Hindi in the Devanagari script” is the official language of the Union, and English the ‘subsidiary official language. However we should note here that English is mandated for the authoritative texts of all federal laws and Supreme Court decisions, and (along with Hindi) is one of two languages for the Indian Parliament.
